    CD Music

    quake 1 (winquake version i.e. all exes included on CD)
    GLPro398.exe
    mission pack 1
    mission pack 2

    game runs great but no music from audio CD (ripped Quake music tracks)
    what could be wrong? going to experiment with the console after work need some input though. thanks in advance

    Make sure the drive letter of your CD drive is the "first" if you have multiple drives or emulate one. For example your CD drives are D: and E:, then Quake will look in D: for the CD.

      You have to add -cdaudio to the command line for the CD tracks to work in ProQuake 3.98, instead of using -nocdaudio to make it not work.

      This is a short term change until I can add the ability to turn on/off the cd-rom player in the menu, which is on my list for 4.00.

        cool thank you quake II was not doing it for me nostalgia wise and the no music in quake I was a bummer.
