  • sqpro linux mouse issues.

"Warning: you have not yet configured your mouse type. If you have no mouse,
setting the type to `none' in /etc/vga/libvga.config will get rid of this
    annoying message.
    No mouse found"

a bit of googling has shown that others have had the same issue, but I failed to find a solution.

    Any advice? Thanks in advance.

I think I had the same problems with sqpro. Don't have an answer for you but I'd be interested in an answer if someone had one.

svga is an old library. There's a config file at /etc/vga/libvga.config which you could attempt to modify for it to work. Never worked for me. VGA sucks.

here are two threads (clicky, clicky) about compiling a linux proquake server (client as well i presume) without using svgalib.
