Darkplaces and Omicron

Anyone else have problems running omicron with the latest darkplaces build?

It crashes with error: host_error: op_state not supported be server

I've read about some issues that DarkPlaces seems to have lately in various places, you might ask at the DarkPlaces IRC channel irc://irc.anynet.org/darkplaces

I have a darkplaces build from early 2008 running fine with omicron (and various
other bots like frikbot, older frogbot etc.) without any issues on my linux machine.
I've compiled a dedicated darkplaces server from last weekend's sources for my
OpenBSD box that works equally well with omicron and others.
Maybe try another build?
I had fps-issues (mainly on dm2) with the last official one but these more recent
builds are very stable for me.
Anyway, like Baker said, report those issues to Lord Havoc so it can be fixed.

Well, I tried the irc channel and havoc and tomaz were there, but the only people chatting never heard of omicron. Weird.

Was using a darkplaces build from '02, which worked fine with omicron. The latest is rather choppy on my laptop anyway. Guess I'll go back to the old one.

I did a snv checkout of darkplaces today and compiled it (for i386 linux) and it does not
show the symptoms you saw, maybe it was just a bad build.

Turns out, it's the build from this site; the EZ installer version.

The latest from the darkplaces site works with omicron.
