I've read some of the pots on music, but I still need help. I use dark places and I converted the mp3 files into ogg files, I put the songs into Id1/sounds/cdtracks and I named the tracks track01.ogg etc. and still doesnt play. Help?

I think you have the directory name wrong.

    id1/sound/cdtracks/track01.ogg

The first .ogg should track00.ogg, maybe that's your issue.

DP needs a dll to play OGG in game, and that dll is libogg.dll. It should be in the DP engine zip file you downloaded from LordHavoc's site. If you accidently deleted this file, DP will not be able to decode and play the ogg music you put there.

I am not sure this is your problem though, but it won't hurt to check this.
