So, I was reading up on the Wii homebrew site and they have ported Quake to Wii! It can handle all mods and they are in the process of adding online play. Here is the thing...
When you download the .zip for the Quake/Wii port, it comes with PAK0.PAK, which is the demo of Quake. It tells you in the Wii instillation instructions if you have the full version, which I do have, to also add PAK1.PAK from the ID1 folder to the Wii as well so you can experience the full game, here is the problem...
I go into ID1 and I have neither PAK0.PAK or PAK1.PAK.
I download my Quake 1 off a torrent, not a CD, but I'm not sure if this effects that fact that I don't have any PAK files. I talked to a few other people that got their Quake online and they have a PAK0.PAK and PAK1.PAK.
So were are mine?
If it helps I'm running XP-SP3
ALSO:
I'm quite new to Quake 1, and I was wondering what the best control layout was.
