  • Can't connect to any servers. HELP!

Every time I connect to a server quake just slows to a grinding hault. Sounds repeat over and over and even waiting for the console to go up takes at least a whole minute.

I've tried re-installing, scanning for viruses, everything I could think of...

I miss Quake so bad... I could cry..

I just want to play multiplayer again. Single player works fine, but I'm pretty sure someone hacked my comp so it won't run multiplayer anymore, just cause of some flame war 2 years ago.

Is there anything I can do?

Heya Phenom. Yeah it's been a while.

Whats your setup look like? Any hubs, routers and is it cable modem or are you using DSL or another?

Also, mention which quake client you're using.

            Using winquake.

I should also mention this problem is on a different computer than my most recent thread.

I'm just cursed when it comes to uake I guess.
