  • Problem with SickBase

Hi, I am running the map "SickBase" on enhanced Nehglquake. However, the problem is that it lags at some spots during the map. I know that slow downs can occur when there are a lot of flickering lights, torches, or big fights, but in this case it wasn't any of the above. The slow down still occurred after I killed the enemies. There was no flickering lights at the position. Changing resolution did not help much. Does anyone have a fix for this? I can't use DPnehahra to run it either since it is high limits. Thanks.

I'm quoting an old, old post of yours for ...

However, this bug seems to happen randomly. Sometimes it does, sometimes it does not. I use the Mobile IntelR 945.

Could it be a triple or double buffering problem?

Edit: It could be fixed by pressing alt-tab, though I am still not sure what the problem is.
I ran into an annoying flickering issue on an Intel video machine recently. I find this encouraging simply because any problem I can "have", I can experiment around to find the solution (if I can't replicate the problem, I have no hope of doing so).

One nice result would be if I can solve the issue, then we get you away from using engines that are not commonly enough used to have a wide pool of people who can answer the question.

(Result #2 might be me emailing aguirRe once I think I have a solution for his consideration of updating that client).
Quakeone.com - Being exactly one-half good and one-half evil has advantages. When a portal opens to the antimatter universe, my opposite is just me with a goatee.

So while you guys all have to fight your anti-matter counterparts, me and my evil twin will be drinking a beer laughing at you guys ...

I never actually fixed that flickering problem, I simply switched over to nehquake as it doesn't occur there. But anyway, do you know of any options to make nehquake run a bit faster so that I can solve my lag problem?

I don't, I''ve probably only used it twice and don't know very much about it.
