  • Having Trouble finding my original CD

Hey everybody, I stumbled across this site after I decided to come back to Quake 1(Long live the golden oldie). I noticed some servers are still going! Well, the guy I loaned my CD to says he gave it back...I'm currently looking for it in a huge stack. I would love to start playing again but it seems the demo won't let me play online.

AIM is Rfon05 and will be on for a couple hours if you got any ideas for me.
PLEASE help a former CTFer / DMer scratch an itch!

    Thanks

Welcome! There are a few places to get Quake up and running from. I am in the mile of rebuilding a frankenstein computer. Soon as I run across the links for the files I'll let you know. On the main page of QuakeOne on the right side are links to thee Quake engines. One of these guys told me about a site to download maps while I was on the road so I could play. Right now the "Downloads" section is not available here. It will be soon, I hope. I just looked on fileplanet and didn't see the file I was looking for. I'll keep looking since I am sure I have a bookmark somewhere here. -fiddler-
