  • Mouselook problem in Qrack

    bind "MOUSE3" "+mlook"

    That is what came in my config when I downloaded it. I was thinking that I should be able to look all around. I can only look up and down =\

    I was messing with my config and I screwed up and didn't feel like trying to fix it so I just downloaded qrack again. I haven't changed anything in it yet.

    It's a noob question, but I'm frustrated and I just want to play.

    hmm in config along with the variables add in "+mlook" maybe??

      That didn't work. I don't know what to do. Qrack is the only client that has worked for me so far. ProQuake has really messed up/shaky graphics.

        This is taken from qracks homepage maybe it will help.

        +mlook is now a cvar m_look default is ON, saves to config.cfg
        Added freelook command. Mimics +mlook, retained m_look cvar also.

        try either the m_look cvar or freelook toggle

          You're best off leaving m_look 1 and get use to pointing the mouse at your enemy

                I'm not sure I understand what you're saying. Before when I downloaded it I could look all around, not just up and down with my mouse. I use wsad to move, but a and d are step left and step right. So I need to mouse to be able to look all around. I'm sorry, I really don't know how to explain it.

                  Sure sounds familiar. I use esdf for my movements, as s and f are my strafe keys "+moveleft" and "+moveright", if you add +mlook or m_look 1 to your configuration then you will always have the ability to aim with the mouse.
