Recently, for some time i couldn't strafe in darkplaces though, it was bound to a and d +moveleft and +moveright.
Nothing else was bound to these keys... i was clueless, and asked LordHavoc to rebuild the linux build the sdl one that i used of dp... but, he suggested something about a cvar being set or something that shouldn't of been set... so i control + f'd his manual for dp's and found the command: cvar_resettodefaults_all
Once i typed that in the client, i could strafe again, and all i had to do was exit, and reopen it to get (most) of my configurations back... and i could still strafe! ^^ yippee.
So, just posting this in case anyone else has some kind've weirdness like i had.
