Is there a monster file or mod that makes quake more G rated?

The above commands work great (removes gibs and blood).
I could do a half-**sed skin for the Shambler, Orge and Demon which removes the blood. Since the skins are so low-res would be easy to do. Unless you are wanting the high-res models in Quake.

sorry if I am bumping this thread.
I was curious if there are any darkplaces scripts that can reroute textures, or is there a texture pack which makes the game less evil. The blood and gore I can remove myself. All you need to do is change a bit of the quakec code anyway. My real concern is the whole theme of the game. A swear filter for online play would be nice to.

Swear filter would require all new code for ingame in which would break compatibility with other players. The best option would be to make a custom font inwhich is invisible. That would prevent him from seeing any swears but sadly at the cost of not being able to see ANY text.

As for the texture question. Completely possible as is with basically all engines. The user RANGER here is doing a texture pack which removes basically ALL the blood in the game, along with the pentagrams and all other "Evil/Hell" stuff. Send him a PM and see if he will share it with you. He also has "Clean skins" which has ALL the monsters have no blood on them.
He would be your best person to talk to right now, as his Quake is easily "Mature" to "Teen" in sense of ESRB ratings.
