Have just changed my graphics card to a Hercules 3D Prophet 4000 XT, and none of my Quake games will play, monitor displays "Out of Range". How do I correct this?

Which version of Windows ME are you using?
Quakeone.com - Being exactly one-half good and one-half evil has advantages. When a portal opens to the antimatter universe, my opposite is just me with a goatee.

So while you guys all have to fight your anti-matter counterparts, me and my evil twin will be drinking a beer laughing at you guys ...

Thats relating to your monitors refresh rate and/or resolution being used.

try adding this to your command line...(create a shortcut to your Quake client, right click, properties

      *:\Quake\glQrack.exe -bpp 16 -height 600 -width 800 -refreshrate 60

Adjust settings as see fit, once your up and running
