So I have 2 versions of Quake

When I put the first one in my CD drive, it says QUAKE101. Inside it has IDSTUFF and QUAKE_SW folders, INSTALL.BAT, SETUP.EXE.

I put the second disc in the CD drive and it says QUAKE106. Inside that one are no folders, just files like INSTALL.BAT, SETUP.EXE, SETUP.INI, _ISDEL.EXE, etc.

I'm assuming 106 is the full version with the 4 episodes, right?

Your 1st CD ist Quake.
Your 2nd CD is the Update to Ver.1.06 I guess.

Hi. Yeah I just installed both through DOSBOX and the 101 CD is the shareware it seems and 106 is the full version since it installed PAK1.

Just in case it helps, you might care to visit the Quaketerminus exe page as it has a few patches that may help before you upgrade to proquake

Yea, "quake_sw" was the name for the shareware
