  • DP Rogue Error

    Hey all,
I started a new install of DP and then added Rogue and now am getting a host parse error. What does that mean and how do I fix it? I do not get this with the Hipnotic game.
    Thanks in advance

    Anybody, please?

EDIT: I figured it out guys. I read the error message more carefully this time and it said it couldn't find the rain_think function of the start map. So I removed the ent file for the start map from the ID1 folder and it works fine. I wasn't aware the Rogue game would look at the start ent file from the ID1 folder. Strange to me but anywhoo.....
    Sorry for the useless thread.

That also happened to me Jeff, first you need to rename the start.ent from ID1/maps (example: modifiedstart.ent) and then start rogue as usual. Once you're on rogue's start map use the sv_saveentfile command to create it's own .ent file (which automatically is gonna be saved on the rogue folder).
Then rename again the "modifiedstart.ent" file on the ID1/maps folder and you're done, no more crashes..

Hope you can understand my explanation..

You can place this .ent file in your \rogue\maps\ folder.

If you dont like the fog delete line 6 in it.
