  • Movement Smooth

    Well,I would like to change that,because when I play at 3rd person view,my character walks/run ''choppy''. It's really strange and I want him to do stuff properly. Thanks for your atention...

    are you complaining about the smooth movement? or want smooth movement?

      JoeQuake 0.15 has movement interpolation (smoothing). gl_smoothmodels 1 in console.

      QRack and JoeQuake 0.14 have this as well, although I don't remember the name (something like gl_interpolate_models).

      What client are you using?

          Well Baker,I'm at Qrack 1.55 with the Qrack 1.55 source code and all the paks...I donwloaded everything realted to qrackl 1.55,thats all I know.

            Are you using -mem 32 in your command line? It is my understanding that QRack thru like maybe 1.54 automatically assumed -mem 32, and then R00k removed it for some reason.

            If I am correct, it is extremely important to use -mem 32 and also make sure cl_maxfps is a reasonable number like 72 or 100.

            Maybe Rook or Yellow will post in this thread tonight now that we know which client it is.

                  Well,cl_maxfps is at 72. And about the -mem 32,at console it don't work. Where should I put it? Which command line you mean?

                        maxframerate 999 will casuse lags.
