GLQrack locking up

I got a new video card and on a new comp. Now everytime I play qrack which i set 1920x1080 on resolution which the new card can handle. it will lock up after 5 minutes of play the screen will freeze and the noise will shutter and keep repeating itself like a broken record. Does anybody know the solution to this problem. Windows locks up and everything I can't cntrl+alt+delete or anything.

Overheating? Check the temps, sounds like something in your system is getting to hot or is damaged (ram etc.). Try to run prime95 for 15minutes or more, if this keeps your system up and stable then it would be an gfx card issue.

i know it cant be the temps i have my computer open and when i check vid card temp it is at a 43-45 Celsius. when i feel the video card its warm but its not hot or anything. I am running prime95 right now should I run qrack while prime95 is running or should I just let it sit there

Prime95 will test CPU temps and ram. Run that alone for about an hour. If it doesn't freeze then it's prob your vid card. I've had this problem in the past. Forgot what was cause tho

could it be the voltage its running in the BIOS? im gonna let prime95 sit for an hr tho first

Prime95 pushes your CPU and Ram up to 100%, so it's just fine for testing them both. If your system did not lock up within 15 minutes or so then it must be something other. Maybe a driver issue...

Yeah d0nger might be the vid card. I saw about the same thing happen when I first got a new ATI card in 2010, a newer game like Half life two I could play all day but Quake would lock up after a few mins and start repeating the last sound before it froze up on a sweet infinite loop. RMA'd the card - no problems since.

RMA'd? Haha whats that and did that fix ur issue i been running prime95 for almost 30 min and no lockup passing all tests

ohhh return it lol i like the card too much qrack will lockup but nothing else does just qrack

ok I ran it for 45 minutes no lockup. updated video card drivers, game still locking up any suggestions? I know r00k may know something bout this hes real good with technical stuff

Is it just qrack or proquake, DP, etc

just qrack i can run dp and proquake just fine for some reason qrack keeps locking up
