I'm a newb to all of this and I do have darkplaces installed. My problem is with the Scourge pak. The centroids don't appear and shotgun blasts both leave a rainbow diamond...please help! Everything else is running ok.

what did you enter to start the MP?
cuz you should start it with 'darkplaces.exe -rogue'
in case you used the wrong parameters like '-game rogue' or such, try starting it like that instead.are you curious about what all there is out there in terms of HD content for quake?
