any way to auto-load your saves?

When playing Quake (in DP) and manually saving your progress in a level, when you die the level reloads to the beginning and then you have to manually reload your save to get back to where you were...its really annoying . Is there no way to make it auto-load to your last save instead of the beginning?...is there a command or a mod for that?

Use F6 to save your games. Add "load quick" the very end of your quake/id1/autoexec.cfg.

Thanx Baker! did not realise there was a quick save or quick load option.

Before Bakes chimed in there, I was going to say 'F9' re-loads your last 'F6' quick save.

Adding 'load quick' at the end of the auto.exec sounds better though.
