  • misc_model entity

I made a model (a rock really) using blender, exported to .mdl and i can open the model in qME so i know its valid.

Now, how do i place it inside my map?

    Using Worldcraft with adapter.

You'll need to add some QuakeC:

    Quake Standards Group - Tutorial

And then modify your .fgd file for Worldcraft (Worldcraft definition file) to support a place model type of entity.

I'd ask follow up questions on doing both of these (creating the place model entity type and adding such a entity type to a fgd file) at

Glad you got it to work. Not out-of-the-box Quake functionality, so yeah requires a bit of work.
