Mission packs

Hi! Can someone pleeeease tell me how to install mission packs for xp? And where to download ? I need you to tell me like I'm five years old cause I,m technologically challenged. Please!!

1.buy on steam or the id website: id Software
id Software

2.insert the hipnotic (mp1) and rogue (mp2) into your quake directory.
example:
C:/quake/hipnotic
C:/quake/rogue

Hi! thanks, but steam requiers me to have base quake in the library and I'm not sure i want to spend 10 � for something that I allready have. Is there a cheaper way?

no, you always need base quake to be able to play the mission packs

just simply copy over the ID1 directory too to your quake directory

Thanks guys! I bought quake on steam although I allready had the game. I played Scourge of armagon and its awesome! Worth every penny Best game ever made.

Jakub, I guess youre right. By the way, Im not really from Czech republic.Im also not a guy

haha i dont mind, im guilty of that many times over. oh well. i feel this should be given away at this point. just at the pure fact there is even a quake 1 community, no matter how small it is, still..
