another server problem (damn it!!)

i have this problem: i can connect to an online server fine. however, if i host a server on my machine, then open another client and try to connect to that said server, it fails. ive triple checked my ip so i know i typed it in correctly. any ideas?

Try binding your server to your LAN ip address (192.168.1.1 type address)

then connect to your LAN ip that you bound the server to.

enable your DMZ and assign it to the ip port of that machine, like 192.168.1.101 for example

also check your "aplication and gaming" if its a Linksys and use port forwarding
of 26000 - 27000 for that same ip of the machine.

tried the bind, it didnt work, however, i havent tried to move the port to the DMZ, so ill mess with that tonight.
