It suprises me a little bit that each time this questions comes up you request to remove all the .ent files. That is the most drastical way and you remove with it all .ent files which has to be copied again when you want to use them (play regular Quake for example). And you have to do this everytime again when you want to play kleshik (remove them) and play Quake (copy them in again).
As you know, there is a much easier way to get rid of this issue "forever":
All mods are put into seperate subfolder in your Quake main folder.
So, all mods use their own config files (inside their subfolders).
You simply have to put this little line into your autoexec.cfg (in this case in the kleshik subfolder) to totally ignore all .ent files: sv_entpatch 0
Now you do not have to delete or copy/paste anything all over again and again.
The same applies to all the sv_gameplayfix_ and other cvar settings.
You can use individual settings for each mod individually if you have trouble with one.
Thanks for the info Seven, I haven't removed any of my ent files yet but I will do just as you recommended. Removing and re pasting would be a real pain and to just do it your way saves all the hassle.
Make no mistakes here... I'm not a mere madman... I'm a realist!
Dresk lives!
Glad to hear the work continues on the best Coop mod ever made for Q1.
I would be glad to help model small assets if you are in no rush, just leave me a pm and an outline of your ideas.
