    Ok so i want to rip some textures from aliens colonial marines for a quake project but i have no idea how. help?

    I don't know if that is Q1 (excuse my ignorance) but if it is and it is using Q1 BSP, you will have to decompile the BSP to extract the textures. I don't know how to do this, but I've heard of it. Another option is that maybe the author was kind and left the wad in the game folder.

    An alternative would be to go to Quaddicted and see if the textures are there. Here is the link to the wad archive. I didn't see what you are looking for, but I only looked at A (aliens is not an option in the list).

    Otherwise (not Q1 BSP), I believe the textures will simply be in one of the game folders. Probably one named textures.

          Oh, I thought you meant Aliens Colonial Marines as in the real life military unit. That's why I was telling you where to get textures. My bad.

              incredibly - is there some other word than "texture" that I should be using to insinuate a game? I keep using it but, nobody seems to understand.
