  • Edgefriction

Yesterday, I was building a new config , and noticed this command
edgefriction - by default set to 2.

on map dm3 @ water area I set edgefriction to "0" thus I fell off edges very easily(also seemed to move faster when coming off of an edge). Next I set edgefriction to "1" I didn't fall off edges unless I wanted to.

Anyone else ever notice this ?

Yeah, sometimes it is funny to mess around with that stuff. If you set it to a real high number, you can't fall off an edge if I remember correctly.
Quakeone.com - Being exactly one-half good and one-half evil has advantages. When a portal opens to the antimatter universe, my opposite is just me with a goatee.

So while you guys all have to fight your anti-matter counterparts, me and my evil twin will be drinking a beer laughing at you guys ...

If u are running a lan server it is fine play around and use it as an "exploit".
but the moment u join a qw server the changes that u make to this "cvar" will have no effect on gameplay cuase u will automatically use the servers "cvar's".
