quake.bash.org now up

For all who remember vx0 and myself (Blaxthos) from quake.phoenix.net, or know us currently from efnet irc servers or bash.org, we have some good news!

quake.bash.org is now up and running like a scalded dog.

Gametype is final release of 3Wave CTF, complete with hook and runes and CTF maps and skins (some hard to find). Maps, skins, and models will auto-download, but I'd suggest visiting the website and downloading the maps first (so much faster!).

Connectivity to the server is excellent, and we hope to see you guys stop in and test it out!

Anyone got any quick help install guides for QuakeWorld?? I think I played QuakeWorld once or twice when I first bought Quake....

You'd just download FuhQuake or EZQuake (clients section). Almost identical to JoeQuake or Qrack in setup (I mention that since you use Qrack).

You can use DarkPlaces to access quakeworld servers also.

From my personal experience you cant go far wrong with Fuhquake.

I had problems in DP with QW... when the round ended (the map was always the same) I couldant rejoin. I had to reconnect.

Yep, I agree, the aim is all fucked up too, whenever you fire while strafing or jumping around the rocket appears like way off to the side of you. Its all off-centered and screwed up. Not the way Quake should be played.
