  • CAx Remaining Bugs / Features?

    CAx crashed with 10+ players at the end of the round on Q1EDGE ... I thought that was fixed and I don't think I had seen that happen in a LONG TIME (is the right version on the server?)

    I noticed the other day that 2 maps are missing from the warp menu ... NINDM_V2 and QTDM3 (and I think QTDM3 might make a great map to CA on).

    While the custom maps that get the most play on Bomber are Sanity, Q1Edge, Q3DM6QW and Aerowalk, some other maps that might be good for CA ...

        I'd say the only thing that bugs me about CAx is that people still want to play nothing but dm3......

        oh wait... you said "bugs"....

        Besides the spawn bugs in some maps (which you have mentioned) I can't think of any.

        I do notice that sometimes when I use qrack that the Lightning gun zap graphic doesnt show up when firing but I think thats not related to CAx.

          Yeah, I am starting to not mind DM3 as much, but I've played the ID maps for 6 years and would rather play Sanity, UltraV, A2 or one of the new maps.

          I think it would be nice to see automatic map rotation at the end of each round based on the number of players in CAx as an option to mix up the map selection and bring some diversity. Like DM3, Sanity, Q1EDGE, Q3DM6, etc.

          I can understand that a number of CA players prefer DM3 because they know it well, but this happens with the other maps as well if they get played frequently.

          Tical noticed a BIG one --> there is a MAJOR bug in CAx --> You cannot drown!

            The flaw was prematch watercheck. Basically if your underwater before match starts, it would give u consistant oxygen, this bit was left on after match began.

            Tical asked about bunny hopping like in QuakeWorld. This would be easy to add if enough players want it.
