Slapped By Admin?

Yellow, do you know anything about this?

I was playing on Bomber just now, and I killed someone named Dave. Then I die all of a sudden with a "QuadRaptor_TU was slapped by an admin" message.



Two questions:

1, Which admin did this?
2, Isn't that abusing admin power, helping one team get an edge by auto-killing a player?

Quad, i will add 'slapped by admin (who) to the msg. And Yes this is an abuse maybe just a joke but, seems to be over used.

maybe ill give admin's points and for each admin command they use it costs them points ?

Yeah I knew someone was gonna point that out. It doesn't really bother me, though, unless there was a way to fix it.

I've personally done that before as an accident. I did not realize that the person I chase is the person it would slap. From the log it looks like someone was banned just after slapping you. Perhaps it was an accident.

Who was it that was banned? Apparently I've never played against them before. Nearest matches seem to be J, fer and OrN?

that admin points system sounds great, but this will require individual admin codes for each admin,or some way to identify which admin using which code.

it would be nice if CAx had a option in-game to see who all is logged in as admin's, like in CA+

the command at CA+ is admins in console and it gives a list of admins , if this was to be implemented it would be much easier to figure out abusive admins and simply report the abuses, rather than code a points system. the best method will always be the community actively reporting incidents like this to the higher power's, like Yellow No.5 , Vis , being the head hancho's.

anyways time to take the kids trick or treating then I get to go through candy to make sure all of it is un tampered with,and decide what daddy wants to eat along the way

"matt cassell" is JJ, who is banned from bomber.
the admin slap feature is to kill a player, in case they get stuck somewhere or afk etc, but it's not really neccesary. r00k how about you just remove it?

True, as for killing someone cause they are stuck, I'd prefer just respawning them so the round could continue. (Have you really seen anyone get stuck?)

Though something that was really funny on SuperCTF, (kinda like ctf meets runequake), was an admin command that created a dog that chased the abusive player around the map

Yes ive seen players get stuck in water all the time, what occurs is they are in the process of "Getting out of water" on dm3 (for example,lower bridge,it sort of launches you out) , well if your shot at the right angle,while your in the process of being launched out,you can either get stuck on the bottom of the water,or if your at the water hole outside on Dm3 , you can get stuck on the side ledges,anyone who frequents CA enough has either seen this happen or its happened to them. It's very rare to get stuck but it DOES happen not enough to warrant a slap command. I've avoided asking this long enough in this post. How did that fallopian tube gushing homo JJ get an Admin code?
