bind +njump to your jump key (I think thats how you set that up)
      alias +njump "+jump;+moveup"
      alias -njump "-jump;-moveup"
I've made some improvement's to Bam's alias that allows you to use +movedown & +moveup making you move faster in water vertically. It looks something like this

      alias +njump "+jump;wait;+moveup;-movedown"
      alias -njump "-jump;wait;+movedown;-moveup"
      bind mouse2 "+njump"

I use to use something like this but forgot how I did it for the longest of time and never it much thought. But with the growing number of CA players I've had to learn some new strategties to deal with the growing amount of skill/spam Enjoy! & I hope this helps someone!

Your njump alias makes you a sinker

Personally I feel that if CA/Quake newbies used my suggested water bind that it would make them much more effecient in water, because it would teach them to always be moving, and you can press jump to still move upwards in water at max speed. This keeps you from leveling off in water and giving your enemy a straight shot unless you let yourself sink

              P.S

Not only newbies but anyone who generally sucks in water, like myself

I like how you used moveup and movedown, except I think in this case the wait command doesn't do much except unnoticeably delay quake by a couple milliseconds.

Just so it's clear the bind above replaces the need for pq_moveup. I should have pointed this out when I first posted it.

Is there a command for JoeQuake such as the %l %h %a? I've tried using regular GLPro, but I can't stand how clogged the screen seems to be

I wish. Everyone always asks this and there isn't a way to do it because JoeQuake doesn't support locs.

You could request this feature in the JoeQuake forum located at http://forums.runecentral.com/viewforum.php?f=9

couse DP runs crap unless u trun off all the goodies.. but when u do that, it looks crap.. plus i dont like the fullpitch.. but most of all im just hooked on qrack now so i cant be arsed to use anything else

anyway my point was that qrack is based on joequake, has more features and is better suited for multyplay.

I'm really not sure I understand the whole fullpitch thing you're mentioning. Perhaps you're increasing the contrast?

MENU > OPTIONS > GRAPHICS > SCENE BRIGHTNESS (3) is all you need to increase to see normally. You don't need to touch gamma and contrast (or brightness).
