Offline KTeams problem

I just got a new machine and installed quake, qrack, joequake, omicrons and the KTeams mod w/ bots. I start up the KTeams like normal in both qrack and JQ; once I spawn on the map, I try to change the rules of the match and I get "You don't have admin privilages" in the console.

I played this mod all the time on software JQ, on my old comp and never saw this error.

Using GL-JQ w/ cmdline -game fbca -listen 8 -dinput -m_smooth -zone 1024
same cmdline I used on old system w/ software version.

Can't use Qrack, get a memory error of some sort after 10 min. or so

I would recommend trying fbca first with DarkPlaces and then if all is well, then try JoeQuake.

I have had great success with Frogbots + DarkPlaces and poor success with JoeQuake + Frogbots. Something about how JoeQuake interprets QuakeC or works with the cvars.

I have had some BBAAAAD experiences with FBCA and JoeQuake ... including the same problems you mention above.

What textures off the d/l section would anyone recomend for DP? I looked at the engine samples and they all seem really dark, I guess I should expect that w/ the name and all but is there anyway to lighten things up?
