*n00b* multiplayer help quake psp

Okay i am a complete noob when it comes to this multiplayer on homebrew games and even on multiplayer on computer. I have got quake on my psp and I need complete help on how to setup and play online multiplayer on it. I use a mac if that might have anything to do with anything....but I assure you that I do use google and I know its my friend but I am still lost on what to do. Can someone please help? ...thanks
