    Among my many tangents I'm planning on updating the CAx mod a little soon.
    A request was asked to deal with elongated rounds due to new players using their +back key to the obscurity that they find themselves hiding in a dark corner..
    so..
    How about if there is only 1 player left on each team then there's a 30 second grace period, after which each player will emit a "heartbeat" to be heard by the other opponent, if not visible? Of course, the two sounds would have to be initially offset, ie "Marko, Polo" ...

    That's the best idea I've heard so far... What about 2v1 people left?

      I don't get it, why not just put a timer on rounds?

      It will speed up the whole process of hiding and spamming, you want to win, then find the other guy; If the timer runs out, the team with the most damage wins the round.

      Easy.

          yup just set timers based on map size... 2-3mins round time for DM6 5-6mins round time for Q1edge

                hehe i like the idea, no worries.. just saying that in my experience CAx = dm3 (garnished with some more dm3 and some dm3 on top for good measure, hence i cant be arsed to play it )

                  Okay currently at RAGE I'm testing this approach...

                  if there are atleast 2 teams with more than 1 player per team
                  and there are only 1 player per team left alive (final 1 on 1)
                  and its been over 20 seconds since that there were only 1 per team and only 2 teams remain
                  then it will emit the pain5.wav sound for 20 more seconds at one "ARRrrgh!" per second.

                  Test it out and lemme know what you think.

                    Was wondering if there was a place to download the Clan Arena mod that they use on the servers? A buddy of mine has been watching and wants to try and learn how to play, but doesn't want to be ridiculed as he has never played a computer game. Also, if someone could post a walkthrough as to how to get one working I would appreciate it. I am still fairly new to this game and don't know all the commands.

                    Anyways, I have multiple computers in my house and would like to create my own server for us to practice on with low latency. Any help would be appreciated.

                        Thanks. How do I make it work? I unzipped it into my Qrack directory, but have no clue what to do now. Everything still looks like it did before when I load up the game.
