I have a quakeworld server running 3wavectf and I have just basic cvar's in the server.cfg I have none of the cvars that control rate or anything like that. So it's just the default values. by default the server port is 27500 udp. I opened this port on iptables. by the way I am running my server on linux. I can join the server but my movement is very laggy it just feels like it stutters and my server is a little behind my client. I am using darkplaces client which should have quakeworld support. I even try using the glqwcl.exe which my clients are running on windows xP. and I have a similair issue it's not as bad as DP but still is not smooth enough to play. any help on what could be causing this problem and a possible solution would be great. It took quite awhile to even get the server going and now I have this problem. I did a search on google but I couldn't find a good awnser anywhere for my problem. Thanks!

[EDIT] Well now playing on my qwcl.exe it runs good it's just my darkplaces client. I also have trouble playing on other quakeworld servers with darkplaces yet it claims to be quakeworld compatible. maybe there is something I am missing but I'd love to be able to play on my qw server with darkplaces or any and all qw servers for that matter. I tried to get ctf to work on darkplaces and it crashes my clents when i try to join the server. again any help would be greatly apreciated.
