  • Problem with coop, need help.

ok on quake.thisserversucks.com:26003, I'm having a problem with the Hell Knights or whatever they are called, they move and respawn right under me sorta like a telefrag except i don't die, it makes it where i can't move its like the hell knight model is surrounding me.. any suggestions? this happens often.

        Ninja Monkeyz,

I know exactly what you are talking about. I've been playing Coop more and more lately.

The knights spawn in your space, and your stuck in place, only left to axe or shoot out via SG SSG, NG or LG.

What I have been doing to avoid being stuck, is to keep moving, stop for a half sec, and then keep moving.... there is a half or so second you have before they try to spawn in your spot. That half second you stop, they will try to spawn there, and you can move out of their spawn and predictably shoot them down.

Apologies, this is a known problem that is already fixed in RQuake 1.3.

I still have things to do before I can release said version but it is running for testing on flanders.quake1.net:26001 if you can handle ~100 additional milliseconds of lag.
