The Longest Yard

Well been looking around for Quake DM maps. I've found some of the great Q2 and Q3 maps ported over nicely to Q1.

However my favorite map of pretty much ANY DM game I haven't yet. Quake 3's "The Longest Yard"

Has this been done? If so - anyone can guide me to the right direction?

Yes my friend it has been done. Search hard enough and ye shall find...

also check one of the map packs.. think its quakeone.com map pack!

It's called q3dmqw. And it plays better in NetQuake Clan Arena X than any game that has ever existed. An uber-classic.

Thanks I did find one called q1dm17 which was a direct port. Best I can find so far.
I am unable to find "q3dmqw" anywhere. I google it and come to a rune quake forum but all the links are dead and it just seems to be a texture pack anyways.

q1dm17 = longest yard.




q3dm6qw = Another ported Q3 map (Its real cool too!)

Baker wanted to implement the 3 screenshots, so that they
are visible. Not only the links.

This gives a better look to the outstanding work, JPL did !
At the moment you cannot see nothing but links.
JPL gave his permission already to Baker.

While I'm fully capable of preforming this task, I also respect my privileges bestowed upon me. I'm only a spam filter, file manager & big mouth on the forums.

Your request is credible and I don't see why there shouldn't be a reason to do this. but while Baker is away working on engine code and Solecord is off saving babies from burning buildings, I'm just a regular user hanging out in the admin lounge waring the "Don't fok with the admins" T-shirt.

I (Though I'd love to edit the frontpage links into images) will leave this for the person who it was originally appointed to, Baker. Unless given the green-light to make such changes.
