Completely New to QuakeWorld, Need Help!

Hey, I've been playing Quake for quite a while not since I got it on Steam and only just tried to play Team Fortress on QuakeWorld. But the problem is that when I click "Multiplayer" on QuakeWorld it tells me to go on some websites, that no longer exist. So I was wondering how can I get online? Or is it impossible on Steam?

Hi. This is basicly the normal Quake scene (Netquake) and the QuakeWorld scene is at quakeworld.nu.

They don't use steam (at all) but you will find the necessary files in your steam apps folder, namely the file 'pak1.pak'. That is the only thing you'll need to add after you've installed nquake (nquake.com) which is a package that contains all you need to play QW. But DON'T install it in the Steam's Quake folder. Keep it separate since you won't be using Steam anyway for QW.
