Looking to get back in...

It's been really about 10yrs since I actively played Quake DM/TDM/CTF ect.
Now due to the modern games, my Quake DM skills have taken a beating. What would be the best server to join up and play again without people getting pissed for having a "n00b" on their team/server? I've seen the postings of people hating it.

Crmod and QuakeTX respectively. If you TK someone, and they cry uncontrollably, just laugh at them and ignore their excessive bitching at the end of the match.

haha, those players do exist in vast #'s...
Although my DM experiences so far have been awesome, granted that there haven't been many of them, heh.
I feel naked without a hook and im exposed to the quick ass bunnyhoppers and rj'ers.

Get your speed back up to par, if you used to play DM you'll pick it back up quickly, and also your rj's, cant stress enough how important it is to do them with little splash dam...
I just never saw much of the bitchin side of it yet, I've tk'd and been a slow mover across the map, just never taken any heat 4 it so far. Maybe you just got there at a bad time or some shit..
Hydro...! was my inspiration and gave me the interest in DM, if not for him, I would only use hook all the time.
I know I'll be flamed on here, maybe even catch a little from Mindz! heh, i would deserve it
But i had an alrite time anytime i went to a DM server so far, thanks Pat !

quake.crmod.com and dm.quaketx.com as far as USA goes, but bigfoot.quake1.net is good for FFA

There really isn't too much bitching about "noobs" except from a select few players. Most DM'ers welcome the older players and newer ones alike.
