Online Connection Error

i recently purchased the quake collection on steam and ive been trying to play quake 1 online, however whenever i try to connect to an online match it says:

No Quake Servers Found.

Host_Error: CL_Connect: Connect Failed




Can someone tel me what this means? Ive also tried to connect through game tracker and i get the same thing.

Make sure you are using an updated client, like

Pray you aren't using a MAC, there are far and few people to assist with getting Quake for Mac running.

Its not finding an internet connection to connect through. Also if you are using wireless, the pings can be so high there could appear to be no responses from servers.
