Pretty Quake

Looking at other people's screenshots (tv, seanstar), i really want to play a beautiful quake. I'm a faithful proquake guy, and for years proquake was my only option. But i have a better computer and can maintain a stable high frame rate. So i'm not leaving PQ, but i want to borrow someone's quake setup. I like qrack and all, but some of you guys have setups that look like entirely different games with magnificent colors and skins.

If anyone is willing to let me borrow their setup, PM me. If i can run yours, I will customize it to things i like, i just don't want to start entirely from scratch. I can run anything, DP, Qrack. doesn't matter, i just want pretty.

ETA: i have tried DP and Qrack with full quality enabled. But i want more! thanks in advance.

Rygel's "ultra" pack doesn't look better than his "high" and both 'em look nowhere near as good as QRP textures.
Another "must have" is Seven's&Co small mods compilation, which does affect primarily visual side of game.

well i dont plan to upload my quake folder...i want to everything replaced
with hd content in a few packs...i planned all weapons in one pack so i can easy switch out different sets.

i was just getting asked for my doom3 models and i might make a pack to easy switch with doom3 weapons...and gfx.

mostly i play with my new weapons pack and havent played the doom3 models in a while.

personally i think TV sadly as it may seem has the most hijacked quake out there with the most tweaks.

TO make it "HD" commerically.

I'd bug him.

It's prob a mix of several contributors not just one...

At a guess, but i don't know imo.
