CAx Server

I closed my virginia server down due to them moving it to new york and the ping times went up in flames.. So i moved it to Atlanta, GA and made it a CAx server. Anyone interested in checking it out can at CAX.SERVEQUAKE.COM:26000. Thanks.

Also any map suggestions would be helpful as well thanks.

Is this server already listed on the frontpage server browser? If not, could someone kindly add it please.MrsMindz and I will check it out tonite after we eat dinner.

i sent polarite an email to change the Virginia_DM address and update it with the new address and name.

pings like 18 - 28 ish.. idk what its like for everybody that doesn't live close by. I didn't get single digit ping but its smooth so far, alot better than the rum server.

edits: alot of that probably has to do with the routing but .. its good on my end.

i used to get frame drag alot on the rum servers but i had like a 0 - 10 ping

we ping around 30-40 solid. thats 20-30 under Dallas,TX !!

sounds good guys.. anything under 50 is great ping.. for sure... i prefer 40 on average, but the few games i played tonight was interesting with 1-25 ping hehehe..

rum servers have not been rebooted in years and are not located in georgia...

Can this server also get the Warp 11 menu map support (Dm3again , and the others that currently are missing. Also, it could use a custom MOTD to reflect itself instead of Rage.Quakeone.Com

Told Wicked I would make a quick list of things I noticed in need of attention....



-updated mod
-extra maps, warp menu 11 doesnt exist
-KOTH maps, will be needed on server
-MOTD isn't right, heh.
-in MatchMode, only two teams are availible in match mode.
-needs a wider map rotation.
-maps DM3 and DM3AGAIN are not rotated. (mostly suggestion only)
