I've been having this ongoing discussion with myself about keeping old Quake 2 bots alive on modern Linux systems. Today, I came to a conclusion (with myself of course) and the result is quite satisfactory. It also helps out all those non-Linux Quake 2 players out there, who use some other OS called "Windows" (stupid name imho). These guys especially have no friends and will benefit from this!
Yearn for a Quake 2 server with actual (AI) opponents? Fancy a full on game of CTF with 10 players and don't care if they are human or not? N00b who wants to get some practise before hitting the real servers and getting your ass handed to you? Then this final solution is for you.
Enjoy
