Why does Qrack crashes in single player mode?

Why does Qrack crashes in single player mode?

I just downloaded and installed Qrack and I was trying the classic single player missions. After completing mission 2 of the first area my game crashes with the following error:
Mod_Extradata: caching failed

Does anyone know if there is a fix for this?

Add -mem 32 or -mem 64 to the command line and it will fix the problem.

The default 16 MB isn't enough for Qrack in most circumstances.
