Making the shaft lightning look cool in DarkPlaces

You can make the shaft lightning look cool in DarkPlaces by going into Options and then Customize Effects.

If you change the LIGHTNING THICKNESS to somewhere around 6 to 9, set the LIGHTNING SCROLL to 6, the LIGHTNING REPEAT DISTANCE to 64 and then set Red to 1, green to 0.5 and blue to 0, it looks like the above picture.

Rumour has it that using a wider Lightning Thickness increases your LG efficiency >.>
