Problem with Qrack Config.cfg

Hi there.

Got a problem with the config file from Qrack; I've installed Q1+Qrack yesterday (v 1.8 ) and everything works fine.there's one problem though: the config file is reseted everytime I exit qrack. I know qrack is doing this (creating a template/standard config file) when you run it for the first time, but my Qrack is behaving as if I was starting it for the first time EVERY TIME I start it.
The problem is that the controls are resetet to defaults everytime I exit/start Qrack, which really sucks!!
I'm using xp an running the game on an external harddrive (maybe that matters!?)

Try typing cfg_savevars 1 in the console.

If that doesn't work, Rook or someone else will have to see your thread.

What Baker suggests should work. But just incase you can try, writeconfig my.cfg then add exec my.cfg at the end of autoexec.cfg

sry forgot to mention above; I've allready tried that, but cfg_savevars automatically is 1 in my cfg, so that doesn't help. (though changing this variable seems to do nothing?!)

Ok, got it working now; I figured out that I had to change the config.cfg within the "id1" folder and the one withing the "Qrack" folder as well. changing both in the same way works fine.
