So, testing some things out with Qrack i noticed some differences with how it handles the screen flash effect when you are hit. I don't know if it is some setting I have, but when I get hit, my screen does not flash immediately, there is a slight delay. Additionally, it doesn't have a red tint like it does in proquake/winquake/glquake/dosquake.

That did the trick, thanks. what's that command do anyway?
I realize this is a minor issue, because the v_*shift commands exist, but it seems that the screen shifting in qrack is more prominent than in proquake. I feel, however, you have more adjustment in qrack with the v_*shift commands than in proquake with the pq_*blend commadns. It just seems i have to set the respective qrack command to a lower value than the proquake command to get the same level of transparency. This makes the default damagecshift value in Qrack higher than in proquake, and possibly in GLquake.
