Darkplaces problems.

So, I've been trying to run Darkplaces for several weeks now and I have to say I'm quite frustrated with it. I hear it runs most Quake 1 mods efficiently, but the problem is, it won't run efficiently.

As soon as I try to load up Darkplaces, it just crashes after putting me in a 300x200 resolution, and then changes back to my regular settings. I don't know if there is something I missed, but could someone link me as to how to get this stuff to work. I'd really like to try it out.

you need to give more information: operating system, system specs, what mods you are running, etc
