  • Qrack Vista

I installed Qrack 1.83 on my new computer yesterday and it currently crashes when I start a map.
When Qrack successfully starts a map everything runs fine.
That is a bit annoying, because it affects the gamma and contrast of Vista. Then I have to restart the computer to make it look normal.

Is there something similar for XP? I'm doing a lot of testing on an upgrade to a mod at the moment with the latest version of Qrack connecting to a dedicated server and very ocassionally it has been known to lock up and crash out of Qrack. At this point I seem to get similar symptoms to those described by rudl, in as much as the windows screen is so bright it almost burns a whole through the back of my head via my retinas.

The only apparent way to recover from this is to reboot. I appreciate the crash is very likely to be as a result of something I'm doing in the mod but would this zip cure the brightness problem?

      Kind regards
