I had sort of eluded to this in the past.
J.P. Grossman is a busy guy (he has a Ph.D from MIT, so you can just imagine) and I was finally able to contact him back 2 months ago.
I had sent him the source and the binaries, but hadn't heard a reply back. Then I got busy and, well, I haven't been around for a couple of months and hadn't had Quake on my mind.
The topic of Unofficial ProQuake 3.80 was discussed briefly when I played some CAx lately and I sent another email to JPG and he has confirmed it will be digitally signed for cheat-free use, but he has been very busy lately.
