      I really never put DP to the fullest, but now that I've upgraded,
      8800gt 512mb ddr2
      Intel Core Duo 3.14ghz
      2gigs ram
      etc...

      DP runs > 200fps at 1440x900x32bits native.. (vsync off)

      all in all real-time shadows are cool for the tech side of it but the low poly of quake models makes it look funny, if not out of place. I like the real-time shadows for dynamic lights on all ents/bmodels though... DP is a modder's dream.
