  • r00k! Qrack skybox and hud elements?

    Hi,

I have a couple of questions about modifying Qrack slightly...

I'm using 1.90, and it's great. But is there a way i can change the skybox style back to a previous versions look? In particular the Quake 3 style one? I loved that.

Also, is it still possible to enlarge the screen size so that the status bar starts losing its elements? It use to be done by pressing the "-" and "+" keys. I only want the armor, ammo and health sections.

Thanks. I know these are strange requests, but I believe I have a really good looking old school, but updated feeling Quake setup going here. Will post a screenshot when I'm done. You'll see!

Hmm, I didnt change the skybox code, in any recent versions. I can tell you for a fact though that I have used QuakeLive skyboxes perfectly in Qrack though

    Are you using r_skyscroll 1 or r_skybox "filename" ?

      Awesome, those settings fixed everything.

One more question, How do i change the icons in the status bar? What directory structure does Qrack use?

Not to bother, I worked out the hud situation - textures/wad

Argh, another question though if you don't mind...

Is it possible to change the scrolling speed of the skybox?
