So I had to reinstall Quake again the other day,and now that Qrack has become the only engine I use I ran into some complications..
saving config in-game,is there a command for this?I also was dumbfounded when I couldnt locate a autoexec.cfg in either the Quake folder or Qrack folder, so I created three of them, and dropped them into Quake\Qrack\ , Quake\ , and Quake\Id1\ and added the settings to customize my experience which was
cl_bob 0
cl_rollangle 0
fov 115
sensitivity 10
one of those file locations corrected the settings from reverting when I closed quake,I dont know which but maybe there could be a command implemented that would write a autoexec.cfg of the current values, unless a cmd already exists which is cool.
onward to the water problem. Qrack is able to use its own style of transparent water by way of settings menu, but the classic method of r_wateralpha and (I forgot the other) are disabled on the CA servers.
are these one in the same? (options method) and (console method of r_wateralpha) and if not, how to add a value to autoexec.cfg
